Call for Submissions: Stories from the Front Lines/ Grease Pits, Manifestoes, Eloquent Rants About Our Collective Oppression, Et. Cetera

Dearest Comrades,

It is said that the pen is mightier than the sword. While I myself find that my trusty spanner is much more useful than a quill in barroom scrap, it is still impossible to ignore the power of cleverly written broadsheets strategically distributed. To that end, I call upon all of our literary brothers and sisters to take up their mighty writing implements and give words to our great aerial cause. Our power is in our numbers, and we must apply these numbers to "Workers of the Air", that it may be a mighty voice for the aether-bound proletariat, echoing around the world.

Those interested in one-time or regular submissions to "Workers of the Air" should send an electronic missive to comradebunny@gmail.com.

Ever yours,
{S.T.E.A.M.}

11/7 - S.T.E.A.M. Assembly at Metrix Create Space

Comrades of the Air,

Join us to plan our first public agitation for the rights of airship workers everywhere! We will also speak of our woes slaving in unsafe engine rooms and enjoy tea and cakes.

We will meet at Metrix Create Space (623A Broadway East, Capitol Hill), an underground establishment that supports our cause, at three o'clock in the afternoon this Saturday.

If you wish to do us the courtesy of sending ahead an RSVP, you may do so here.

Ever yours,
{S.T.E.A.M.}

The Airship Workers of the World Thank Steam-Con 2009!

Dear Steam-Con Organizers,

Your comrades in airship engine rooms everywhere thank you for giving us the inspiration to gather together in solidarity! It is too easy for us to think that we struggle alone amongst the gears and the grease and the dirigible propellors. But this first and epic gathering of the steam and gear oriented in the fine region of Cascadia has been our muse - you brought us together, and we now know that ours is a common plight. We now know that we are many. And we now know that our oppressors will not stand against us for long!

Sincerest thanks,
{S.T.E.A.M.}
